Gentlemen,
I have a wheel bearing beginning to go on the passenger-side rear wheel. This is my first S197, so forgive my ignorance, but is that a press-on style bearing (that I’ll have to take to NAPA or wherever to get a new one pressed on), or is it something I can just buy a new bearing and change it all myself? When replacing the bearing, what’s all involved, and is there anything else that will require replacement during the process?

Again, sorry for what may be a stupid question. I’m not much of a mechanic myself, but I’m trying to learn, and I’m recruiting my father (veteran mechanic) to teach me how to change it out. I just want to make sure I have all the necessary parts on-hand before we get started.

Thanks!
Chris
