The "regular" (if one can even say that with a straight face) Shelby GT500 is already in the rareified world of cars with over 500 horsepower, but there are still an assortment of nutcases out there who need more power.
Shelby doesn't seem to have a problem with catering to this fringe group either, and in next week, the famed Mustang tuner will be showing their new Super Snake, rumored to be capable of producing 800 horsepower from its 5.4L supercharged V8.
Like prior Super Snakes, the new car will undoubtedly have upgraded brakes, suspension, exhaust system and wheels. No specifics have been announced but one thing is for sure; this car is going to be a white-knuckle driving experience.
