So I am not too sure about these motors. I know that 4v are better then 2v. im planning on doing a kb'd 4v. and i was wondering what it would take to turn my engine into a 4v? i know that i'll need new headers and kb replace the intake. and i'm gonna forge the bottom. rough estimate of power will be 700. at the most. maybe a little nitrous we'll see. I'm thinking 03-04 heads.

I'm just planning for the future.

K so I was pretty sure i could keep my 2v block. so i might as well just forge that. and this is going to be a few years of a project so money won't be that much of a issue.
Why are the b-intakes harder to find? I am stuck on 4v. and everybody seems to be throwing truck engines in their cars nowadays. haha
Will KB throw in a b-intake under the blower?

Thanks all.

So then i can't go kb with b heads? so then i have to fork out more for the c's? And you say the block isn't much more? and more than free? since i have a block in my gt right now. i'd rather save a grand then spend one.

I bought 2 things an hour ago.

1. how to build max-performance 4.6l Ford Engines.

2. Zex kit.

So as of today i'm now using my playing money on building a 4v engine.

&&what do you plan to do with that? :D

:3gears

Just something to keep me from waisting my money on bolt ons ;) until i can drop in my future engine.

Best book ever.
highly recommended for anyone considering to build a 4.6 or 5.4 engine. it tells you everything! and even shows you what some parts are like and which ones are better.
