Question, my 95 either has a bent axel or a really bent rim..maybe both. anyway, up on a lift you can see the passenger side tire turning out of round, and 2 of the wheel studs are F'd.

I have a FRPP 3:73 gear in the back. The question is should i go with 28, or 31 spline axels? At what point in HP do you really need the 31's? And will the 28 and 31 both fit the rear end?

your set up i doubt would break an after market 28 spline axle

if you upgrade to 31 spline its a lot more money

250 for axles that slide in or close to 1000 if you buy everything new to swap to 31 spline

i know it wont break it now, but my plan is to be around 450-500 rwhp...would the 28's still support this? with slicks for track days?

Will the 31's "bolt" right in with no modification? Is there anything else i should do while i am in there?

31 splines, need a new carrier

depending on how you go

ford truck unit with track lok 50-100 bucks at junk yards

or 350 if not more and up for an aftermarket unit.

Youll want new bearings etc all around also
