so i am thinking of getting some 315/35/17 for my 10.5 inch rims and was wondering if they will fit under a stock body (fenders arnt rolled) and if not how much rubbing will occur.

My 315 35 17s were fine with a 1.75" drop - only rolled my fenders when I stepped up to 305 35 18s

Here was the 315s

Here is my 315 with 1.75 inch drop. I actually want them to be lower, BUT my coil over in the rear is as low as it will go.

I haven't had any problems with mine :dunno I think you should be fine op. If you run into problems later you can always just roll your fenders.

I had my 99' 2v vert with a 2.5 + inch drop with 315 on the rear on stock 99' 17 inch rims. Worked just fine even with 4 people's in the car. Only thing I did not like is how the tires needed to bulge out considering the wheels were small in diameter.

Give it a try and let us know!

If you get spacers, then consider the option of rolling the fenders!
