Can someone tell me the difference? I see "For V8 Cars Only" or "V8 Spindles Required" in catalogs for brake kits and for some 5 lug conversion kits. I am doing a 4 cyl conversion and I picked up a set of V8 spindles for free. I also bought a 5 lug setup from a friend of mine, but he said he had a shop put them on and does not know if they bought the 4 cyl setup or the V8 setup. I want to make sure I know the difference when I start looking.

Not sure. I think where the strut bolts to is wider on the 4 cyl cars.

Caliper mounting. The ball joints might be differnt size too but I don't remember.
