So my engine is already out and on a stand, I have the oil pan off because I'm cleaning it. The intake is off. :naughty:

I was thinkin' about buying a nice set of cams, not too loppy, but not to smooth.

I will be having a 125 shot of nitrous system installed (if that matters)

So, i have the access the tools to do the job.

But I have NEVER done this before, never adjusted timing or degrees or any of that fancy stuff.

Should I just pay someone to install them after the engine is back in my car, or should I just do them myself? :dunce:

Not hard at all, read up and jump on it while the engine is on a stand. If you have enough skill to do a 4V swap you have the skill to do a cam swap.

Jump over to the Cobra section..... you can't find it here 'cause these are 2V motors. Search the cobra subsection.

Edit: 4V/SVT section.... I called it Cobra, I never go there so I told you the wrong section name.

Its timing and requires attention to detail but not overly complicated.
