So i found this lincoln navigator motor for $500 with 70k on it... how much "modding" will i have to do to drop this in my 02 gt? i would hope it would match right up like a mark VIII motor but im assuming that it is an absolute bitch and very pricey?

Anyone tackled this before? advice? comments?

The labor part is easy. Finding an intake that'll fit under the Mustang hood is what gets pricey. If you want longtube headers, they pretty much have to be custom made.

Its not a direct swap however if you go over to corral.net and pm birdman941. He makes kits for the swap that allow everything to fit with the stock hood.

^no thats the 2v. you have to have an intake widened, talk to birdman, or get a different intake.

If u got deep pockets and time go for it but it will not be a short project and it will have alot of issues.
