2000 GT - 72k miles, not sure if or ever the tranny fluid has been changed. Shifts ok, every now and again a slight, slight sticking into third. So, is it time for a change and what is the recommended fluid to put back in there??

iv got an 02 with the 3650, and i use dex/mec, mobile one synthitic, but i dont know what the 45's call for

the sticking into third could be a shift fork issue...i am in bad need of a rebuild, shift for for 3/4, syncros for second, blocker ring for 4th that i am sure has now chipped the teeth for 4th...

fluid change is not really going to make a difference in our tranny bud. Now auto yes cause half the way it works is using fluid. If its starting to stick then there is a problem starting inside the tranny.

Shouldnt the fluid be changed every xxxxx amount of miles though??
