I have an 88 Mustang GT that I put long tube headers on now the clutch cable keeps melting anyone know of a clutch cable that is made for use with long tube headers? I've tried using a heat shield on the cable but still gets too hot.

Copper rtv on the primary in the area where it is melting the cable will do the trick.
