I'm planning on doing more boost and to avoid any belt slipage was also going to do a 8 rib conversion. I was wondering if anyone has done the 8 rib conversion on there 96-98 4.6l?
I see G.I. Joe/BBG Performance has a kit for 750 with supercharger pulley and I'm told Riechard Racing makes them also - price unknown.
However, I'm also told you can piece it together with f-150 truck pulleys for about half the price (below).
Pulley Part Number
Supercharger - Vortech
Idle (x2) - YS-250
Altinator - GP-720
Power Steering - XL3Z-3A733-AA
Water Pump - F6TZ-8509-AA
A/C - YB-522
Tensioner - 1L3Z-6B209-AA
Crank - XL3Z-6312-CA

Is this correct????? Has anyone done it? Are they direct replacements or do they need to be shimmed or modified?

Vortech also makes a maxgrip 8 rib pulley kit but, it states it for 2000 to 2005 Mustang GT.
What / Is there a difference between the pulleys on a 96-98, 99, 00-05 mustangs 4.6L engines? I thought only the intake and heads were different.

Thanks for your help.:)
