This is my first post, and I'll be honest I'm not a great mechanic... so let me get that out of the way first... So I have been rebuilding/preforming triage on a 2.3 1988 Mustang LX and ran into a problem I need to replace 2 hoses. The one from the map sensor to the vacuum tree. And the other from the pvc to the intake...however I can seem to find a place to purchase these ANYWHERE any one have any ideas... tried the usual (autozone, american muscle etc)

First off, welcome to the forums. I would take samples of the hoses to a different auto parts store, since the one you went to either doesn’t steel auto parts or they didn’t want to serve you for some reason. Most if not all auto parts stores sell bulk hose by the foot. If you are looking for pre-formed hoses (shaped with bends in them) than the Ford dealer is the next logical choice.
