Hey my name is Devin Williams and i recently bought a 92 mustang coupe that had a bad clock spring. if you guys can have any ideas on where to find one that would be great. and also i would like to know more about how it works and exactly what it controls. thanks

The clock spring is really hard to find, I actually had to buy a whole steering column and replace the whole column as I couldnt find just the clock spring. It allows you to turn the steering wheel while keeping the wiring connections going for your horn, cruise and airbags. Good luck with your hunt, check e-bay as time to time I see them on there but mine took a while to find what I was looking for at adecent price.

A clock spring is the important part generally of 50 years life span and really hard to find the particular of required model.

thanks, one more question tho. my gauge lights arent working anymore, does the clock spring control that too?
