Is it true that these wheels are the lightest of all the GT wheels out there? I can get a set for cheap to throw on my car for when i hit the track. I currently have 18x9.5 Chrome Cobra Rs with 275s all around. It would be nice to get rid of a nice chunk of rotational mass. Should I pick them up?

What do you guys think? Anyone know for certain how light those are?

They are the 5 spoke starfish rims.

Well, they definitely seem lighter than my FR500s, but I also have a bit more tire on the FR's and those are 18". If you're looking to cut some time off your ET though, I think draglites would make the most sense, even though they're more expensive because the stockers aren't THAT light.

Also, can't you get lighter tires on those? (Small = lighter?) :dunno

So I picked them up after all and wow what a difference. Car revs faster while driving normally and feels smoother all around. Gonna def keep these, just need to get some better tires.

I wouldn't doubt it if they are the lightest. I know my saleens are pig heavy turds. The stock bullitts weren't that heavy compared to these though.
