Just read an article in the Dec. MM&FF on the SVT 20th anniversary and they referenced that the first 8,000 99 Cobras had intakes that were down on power and that Ford corrected the problem with a redesign and TSB on the intake. How do you identify the early style as opposed to the replacement? Is their a fix for the earlier ones?

The fixed intakes will have an addition the part number etched into the bottom of the intake, either a -BA or an -AE. There will also be a green or blue dot on the driver's side
