Im looking to buy a new set of tires. I have the stock 17x8 inch rims on it and I was wondering what everyone thought about tires for Mustangs.
Right now im looking at Nitto tires, which I've heard are great.

Is this for straight line or twisties? If it's the latter, go a little narrower and shorter on the tire, like a 235/45 instead of the 255/45 or 255/50. That'll reduce sidewall squirm.

Nitto Invo's have worked out awsome for me, nice and quite, great for cornering and are nice for grip too. Keep the pressure around 4000 for daily driving and lower to around 3000 for the track. Love em.

Um, what units are you using? I thought they'd be kPa, but 3,000 kPa is 435psi, and I don't know of any tire that holds that kind of pressure, hahaha.

255/50/17 (rear) at 4K my car sits at the wear mark on the tire. At 3K their a little loose on the road.

245/40/17 (front) at 3500

sorry I sould have explained that better...when I filled my rear and front tires (255/55/17 rear) (245/40/17 front) at 3000 they were too loose on the road and had way to much movement for me. So I finally found the sweet spot that I liked which was 4000 to the rears and 3500 to the fronts. The tires also wear out at the tire wear line too; at 3000 they were a little under it.

When I hit the 1/4 mile, I go back down to 3000 to the rears for better traction.

:facepalm.

You're either a fantastic troll, or not getting what I'm asking.

What unit of measurement are you using when you reference having "3000" in your tires?
