We're about to order all the parts to swap out our top end. It's a 92, currently has full exhaust, 76mm C&L(19lb), K&N drop in filter, subframes, 3.73s, alum driveshaft, pro 5.0 shifter. The plan is to supercharge it later, so we won't be going for any type of CAI or upgrading the injectors this go around. Hoping the 19lbs will hold us until it's time to move to a charger. End goal is 4-500hp(after charger of course)

Currently there's two sets of lifters on the list, only choosing one, but wanted to ask if those Crane's would work fine with our setup?

Any idea if this radiator will be a stock fit? Going to be using the stock fan a while longer unless it's going to cause fitment issues.

On the trick flow gasket kit, anyone have experience with this gasket kit and forced induction?

Almost all of this is coming from Summit currently (unless someone knows a cheaper place?).

Any criticism/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Probably going to start ordering parts tonight or tomorrow.

why dont you save your money on the cam and have a custom one made when your forced induction is in place

Thanks for the replies. This pretty much is the trick flow street heat kit, with a stage 2 cam, different rockers, and a track heat intake.

I stole the parts from one of Darrell's posts and spoke with him a little bit about it. I feel pretty confident in the rods/rockers/heads/intake/cam/misc. other parts from kit.

The lifters, gaskets, radiator clearance, throttle body, fuel pump (walbro > holley?), and anything I might have overlooked are my main concern.

if you call crane and talk to them they will recomend what you need for your set up

also you SHOULD WAIT ont eh cam and that should be one of the last things you do....again call the company and see what they recomend on a custom grind.

as far as a radiator any aftermarket aluminum would work...i heard a few bad things about summits.

fuel pump walbro....near heard anything bad about them

throttle body bbk....better be big if your supercharging

gaskets - go with mr gasket or fel-pro

bbk is made by walboro on FP's....radiators, i'd reccomend fluydine or griffin...and dont go BBK on TB's, there not all that good, alot of them leak...i say holley or accufab

Yeah, BBK has not impressed me with their build quality. Going with the accufab 75mm

We're looking at the Fluidyne Radiators: FLD-FHP20-93MU - summitracing.com but concerned about the thickness. Anyone have any clearance issues with the factory fan? Might have to go ahead and order an electric one.

I believe the gaskets that come with the trick flow gasket kit are fel-pro, but I wasn't sure if they would stand up to boost. I don't know much about gaskets, but I figured fel-pro made multiple models/types of gaskets.

All the BBKs ive used never leaked. Although, i did have alot of throttle sticking issues... and dirty draws...
accufab....i've heard nothing but good things

fluidyne is the best
Ive had accufabs stick open partially at part throttle. But the quality is light years better than BBK.

why not leave the engine alone and enjoying while gather the RIGHT PARTS for a build up....I would find a nice 351w block and start your build it's a better platform to start a forced induction with

thats a good idea, but alot of people are impatient, i would vote the same idea
