You won't see much difference, if any, between the two performance-wise. Just go with whichever one you like best.

I have the old BBK plenum/TB combo before they put them together, only mine is a 70mm TB. +1, renegaderacer, I'd get that one.

But, that's just me. Again, the performance gains to be had are minimal at best.

Yeah accufab your just buying a name. If you have some type of forced induction you'd pick up 10 or 15 rwhp. n/a it wont give you much.

from what I've read the 78mm combo is just too big and will hurt you on the bottom end
it does look good though
once you get enough air in it wont make a big difference either way between a 75 and 78 theres no difference 3mm IS nothing.

Well if the general rule is that 70mm works best for N/A setup, then it would be 8mm over that :tomato

75 Wont kill an N/A setup but i do think that 78 might be a bit much? I dunno im boosted anyways. And don't use a plenum at that...

The plenum is where you see the difference in manufacturers. The Accufab plenum outflows most if not all the other manufacturers in all the tests I have seen. A 75mm throttle body is going to flow the same no matter who manufactures it. Yes, a 70 is better for n/a, but there are plenty of people on here that have the 78mm that say it works fine (for what thats worth). I have the Accufab plenum with the stock tb because the stock tb is plenty for stock engine. When I do heads and cams or a supercharger I will upgade to a larger tb.

Edit: I said tb's flow the same, but when you go cheap they tend to from time to time get stuck, as in the problem some have had with BBK's. You can look at the different manufacturers and see that you are NOT just paying for the Accufab name. They are by far IMO the best "quality" tb on the market, although I wish they gave you the decision if you wanted shiny or not.

I was bothered when I asked BBK what the flow number were for their new TB and they told me they didnt have any. If you design a TB/plenum setup and dont test flow you shouldnt have even bothered. So it leads me to believe the numbers arent what you would think they would be.
