I have an 85 GT 5spd, I am going to replace gears, 2.73 to 3.73, I have short tube headers and an o/r X-pipe, flowmasters, 600 cfm Holley, K&N air filter. I would like a recommendation on heads, intake, and cam. Also intake and cam w/o replacing heads right away. Will not be on track, just zipping around town and showing off, well maybe on track just to get some numbers once in a while. I would like to keep it mild and low dollar. Any advice would be welcome.

well if ya just want a little street cruzier around down and wanna save some money You could go to a junk yard and get some GT-40 heads off of an Explorer for pretty cheap. But if your thinking of doing a cam swap. It would prob be best to chance the heads and cam at the same time. B/c you going to want to get the correct valve springs for the cam, and i would advice against using old shitty ones that you just got from a junk yard :)
