Never heard of that one happening. If you are sure it is tight enough you could use some lock-tite blue on the threads before you tighten it up.

Wow. Are you sure you are torquing it to the proper scecs? Mine was a real beeotch to remove, I couldn't imagine it just coming off like that.

whats really weird is i never took the pulley off ever and i bought a new alternator after the first time it fell off because the shaft reemed out the pulley. the alternator i bought is a pa i got from american muscle and it came with the pulley on it already. i drove the car like 100 miles at the most and it just fell off again it ust doesnt make any sense. but tommarow im going to put blue thread lock on it and see what happens. Hopefully that fixes the problem?

That is very odd, it sounds like your pulley is going the wrong direction.
