just wondering if there is anything i need to know about removing and replacing my valve cover??? before i go rip them off will i need to replace the gasket? are they a bitch? this is my first attempt at really doing anything to start on my engine bay area, lol. hopefully by this spring my engine bay will be a whole new animal :) unless i just start ****in all kinds of **** up

If youre buying aftermarket valve covers, they should come with their own gasket. The other thing to know is if you have romeo or windsor heads. Count the bolt holes in valve covers and order accordingly

^As long as they're NPI heads they'll be romeo.

Tony, if you're driving a standard the clutch cable is a total PITA because it gets in the way. The dip stick has a bolt holding it beside the valve cover, that can be quite annoying. Use some black silicone to keep the gasket in place when putting the cover on. Obviously tighten side to side, need to keep equal pressure. Aside from that its super straight forward.
