i am moving to Mississippi soon from georgia and i was wondering do you need to have catalytic converters on your car there for emissions? or do they even do emissions checks there? if it makes a difference im moving to oxford in lafayette county

The only thing you have to get checked in mississippi is for your insepection sticker. That includes the following: headlights work dim/brights, turn signals work, brake lights work, and your horn works. Price is usually $5 and if you have tint that as well has to be legal (which for cars it's 32% ??? I can't remember exactly )
