So I'm putting an AOD into my '68 coupe here while I'm building a motor for it and had a question about the converter lockup on an AOD ...is it controlled electronically? Reason why I'm asking is I'm looking at tranny's and converters and they all specify either lockup or non... for example the B&M trans summit has for sale specifically says its a lockup unit and some of the TCI ones say they are a non-locking tranny. Can I put a non-lockup converter in a lockup style tranny?!
I'm so confused.
