I did 4:10s with 55000 miles and didnt use a bearing kit
i did mine at 84k and they were fine. i had a tune go along with it. gas, idk haha but power, u can definatly tell a difference (horsepower wise its none) but you can feel a difference, i love them
Your car is 7 years old....Be safe get a bearing kit. I also suggest you use amsoil gear oil.

Your highway goes dwon 2 mpg your city goes up 1
Ya get the bearing kit. Gears don't add HP, they just let you feel the HP you have. Gas should be relatively close but if you mass the gas more often, gas mileage decreases :D
I had 3.73's in mine for about two weeks. on a mild N/A auto car their worthless, you wouln't notice much (if any) diffrence (I saw no real diffrence anywhere, street, track, etc with the 3.73's). get 4.10's or spend your money on something else :2cents. oh yeah & anytime you change gear's IMO you should get a bearing kit & a clutch kit for the t-lock.
If I had an auto, at the least I would get 4.10s but if I had to choose I would choose 4.30s.
4:10s and dont look back
I was wondering at what speed does a auto top out at with 4.10s??
You don't have the power to top them out. Theoretically it's like 180 or 190
The fastest i have taken it up to was 130mph all stock when i just got the car.
well in 3rd like 112 at 6200rpms. But if you let it shift into 4th I have done 130 or so and could have kept going
i am also debating on whether i want 4.10 or 4.30. cani have some insight.
i plan on staying N/A with a 100 shot of nitrous. i do alot of alot of city an highway.
Get a bearing kit. The ford racing kit is 99 dollars from summit and it includes all the bearings, seals and races for your rear end. Well worth it. Every person over 50k miles or so I recommend changing the bearings and seals.

Are you a DD? I did gears on my friends car that has an 04 gt manual and it made a big diff.

Not with 4.10s

yes i am a DD, ithink im going to go with 4.10

INCOME TAX MONEY FTW!!
I would do 4:10s too. 4:30's you will top out at 100mph with a normal street tire and rim. Inless you run 15in rims and a tall DR's or slick all the time I wouldnt' go over 4:10s bro

hey i noticed you running a auto, do you have a shift kit of anysort?
tuned...I will do a shift kit someday. My stall and blower install is first!
KnightRider,

I would go 4.30s. 4.10s in an auto is the same thing as 3.27s in a 5 speed. You won't top out your car at 100mph and if your worried about the top end get a 28" tire. But with your power you won't be trapping over 105.
