ok i have a question i really dont get to talk to too many guys with automatic gt thats smart enough to get a stall in it.. im sure their are some people though.. i just want to know how they did at the track... around what would my time be if you see on my sig at everything i have now. and what kind of stall converters do you have and prefer??????????

i am guessing you have a tune. my buddy's 99 went 13.6 with similar setup on a stock converter and i think he was on drag radials.

I am getting ready to put a stall in mine. would you do the 3000 again or recommend something different. what brand are you running? you really don't need a stall to run well with these autos. I have tweaked some things with my tuner and did the j mod conversion and run high 11's. just wondering how much one will help my car.

yeah you really do need a good stall in an auto believe me its a night and day difference.. i see you already boosted im tryin to run the best time i can being n/a ya know... and i have a power percision stall however you spell the damn thing..lol... hit me up with a pm and i will give you their number and you tell them exactly everything you have on your car and they will build it to exactly what you have... im really good friends with the guys at strictly performance in houston and they told me about them.. most boosted gts usually do a 3500 stall but you have 4:10s and not 3:73 so do a 3000 stall.. if you running high 11s it will put you in low 11s.. i promise it really is a night and day difference..

hows the 3k stall fair on the street. im going to put one in mine once i can get my wife out of it as a dd.

my car is a DD you cant even tell you have a stall in it.. but just get the right stall. at first i got a boss hogg stall just cuz it was like 400 bucks and it sucked.. felt like my tranny was all messed up and it was a brand new tranny.. for our cars you are gonna pay for a stall.. look at tci or power percision.. oh yeah and i still have that boss hogg stall for sale.. it only stalled up to 2 grand for me and i had it taken out twice and sent to them and flashed twice for them to get it to a 3000 stall and it still never happened.. piece of complete ****..lol...

i have a 3800 dirty dog stall converter in my auto...with the following mods i have ran a best of a 13.04 @ 104 w/1.71 60'ft...full weight, and half a tank of gas.

Accufab 70mm TB+Plenum Combo
MAC CAI
Steeda U/D Pullies
MAC Longtubes
O/R X
Bassani Catback
4.10's
Removed Front Sway Bar
Dyno Tuned to 255rwhp/280rwtq
ran on 15x4, 15x8 Centerline Terlstars, w/Mickey Thompson Drag Radials

also have an NX Kit but havent sprayed in awhile, and my CMS Stage 2 Cams are on order so im hoping to be in the 12's N/A very soon.

I have heard good things about the dirty dogs.

I would assume you will be in the low 13's to high 12's depending on tires and suspension mods.

what would be a good stall to go with for the street? i know it depends on the setup but i was just wondering what a good all around stall would be? also, what are the 4R70Ws rated as well as our engines? HP and Torque tolerance-wise

i dont know what they are rated for but i have seen alot hold up to 500 to the wheels. and a good stall is at tci or a power percision..

the 4r70w are able to hold a lot very easy. doing some homework for doc;s mach, and from what i read trans specialist are highly recommending an upgraded valve body. from that alone the 4r70w will easily do 500 hp and will last.

+ 1 on the valve body.I did the j mod conversion its awesome.
