My bama tune is making my car buck when cold. When its idling cold and I pop the throttle to maybe 1200 rpm it almost dies when the rpm's drop. They drop to almost below 500 rpm's. Sometimes it bogs changing gear and throttle responce SUCKS.When the car warms up it stops bucking but bogging does not go away fully.Throttle resonce is still terrible. I keep hearing about datalogging but how do I do that? I got no information with my tuner or anything in an email. Im afraid its going to hurt something. How do I go about fixing this? This is the first tuner I have ever owned and know nothing about them or how to fix this issue. Please help.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your tune. A lot of cars on a "Cold Start" if you drive it right away or touch the gas it will be hesitant or will buck. However once the car warms up this should go away and you shouldn't have crappy throttle response!

We send out thousands of tunes and build them all from the ground up for your PCM code and your mods. They're not just "canned" tunes, they're built custom by our team, so every once in a while it's possible we mess one up! We'll definitely get it straightened out for you, though! Shoot me an Email with your order number and information and I'll have our head tuning specialist Mike Wilson contact you directly. I'll also reply to your email with information on how to datalog properly!

Hang in there, you'll be enjoying your tune in no time! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST, Just in case you need immediate assistance!

That's very odd Icon. Unfortunately I never received your PM! Shoot it over again and I'll make sure Mike Wilson contacts you immediately to get you squared away.

I'm sorry about that!
