The negative battery cable terminal is badly corroded(bolt and all). How do I replace the terminal? The original wire has three wires crimped together. One big wire and two smaller wires. I purchased a "Battery Cable Splice" from autozone but I dont want to mess this up. Is this an easy task or should I walk away from this now? Please give me your best knowledge MMers.

Take that **** back to AutoZone. Go to a reputable stereo shop and buy a nice terminal that will last and either have them install it or do it yourself. Some of the reason I suggest the stereo shop is that I'm a wiring idiot..... a buddy has been in the stereo business for 20+ years and handles all of my wiring issues since day one. Corner parts stores sell junk terminals (even their nice ones), stereo shops sell nice **** that lasts.
