Hello everyone, I sold my 88LX and I am purchasing a 1995 Mustang with a built 5spd, suspension and rear(31spl, 4.10's, slicks). I am also getting a 351 with it and rebuilding it.

I plan on rebuilding, throwing a cam in it and spraying it.
I'll also be going with full ARP hardware, windage tray, maybe Holley intake, and some stiffer valve springs.

My question is; What would be a good cam to go with the stock heads..?
and how much power do you guys think this motor will make, on and off a 200 wet shot?

Why spend the money on a built trans and arp hardware, etc etc and stay with stock heads? Used heads are pretty cheap.

the trans is already built as well as the rear end..
just rebuilding the motor

the heads on the 351's flow pretty adequately from what I understand
but I am trying to get this on the road semi-quick

Unless they're 351C heads, they won't flow a whole lot more than a stock 5.0 e7 head.. which aren't enough for a 302 let alone a 351. GT-40 and 40p are the best flowing windsor heads that came stock, and even they will choke down a 351.

Got tree'd ... lol
