I just used basic caliper paint from Advance Auto. Turned out good for the most part. One of the calipers started to chip in the first week, but I think it's because I rushed the drying process with a heat gun, and didn't let it sit over night. Overall though I am satisfied with them. They repel brake dust really well to.

did you clean the calipers before you painted them?
Uh............... Yeah?

how long did it take you?
Get your car up on blocks in the morning, clean and paint the calipers (takes about an hour, and you can actually do it with the calipers still on the rotors like I did, but it's hard to get the back side of them....if you have the time take them off and do it) and then let the car sit overnight to let the paint dry. About 3 hours of labor if your a perfectionist and by yourself.

liquid or spray?
Mine just came in a paint can and you brush it on.

For the cobra...What do you guys think of doing white as the main and black lettering for the "cobra"

K, I shall get them tomorrow :)

On the Calipers? That would be sick as hell....Tedious work though...

For you to run out into your garage at 11 at night to snap a pic with what little resources you have....

It's the thought that counts...<3

Or maybe you were just so uncaring and to damn lazy to go find a decent camera with a flash.....Sigh*

i haven't seen blue anywhere near me in stores otherwise i would have bought it.
Look harder.
all this talk has gotten me motivater, but i dont know what color, if any would work on my calipers...

ideas?

would red be too...cliche and out of place?
Red would look great IMO.

I would probably save up for another set of wheels first though. =/ I hate the stock wheels on the (V6's?).

look harder? no, i don't feel like going to other cities for paint that i could order. i checked all local places and they didn't have em.
I never said expand your search....I said look harder. You obviously don't want it that bad because

1) they probably have it at at least one of the stores you have been to and just over looked it
2) you could just walk up to one of the employees who work there and have them order one for you (if they have it in red they can order in blue).

:dunno

No clue bro. Both Advance Auto and Oreillys (I believe thats where I saw it) have it down here, and both had the ability to order more. EDIT: This was like 8 months ago so maybe thins changed?

I still don't think you should have to pay $50+ for it.... Maybe Homedepot can mix a blue for you that has some sort of brake dust repellent? Lol, Idk just throwing ideas out there. I'm pretty sure they only deal with like home paint.

Hell if you want to man I'll swing by and pick up a can for you and ship it to you if you want to pay for it. I wont charge you or anything, just pay for the paint + shipping.
