On the Calipers? That would be sick as hell....Tedious work though...
Yeah, on the calipers...I'll have to clean them more often, but its all good. The cobra isn't a car i drive every day anyway...been in the garage all week :(

Where its black I want to do white, and the cobra lettering in black. When I do it I'm going to powdercoat it for sure

so **** i should go disconect my calipers and spray them. oh ****...i have to disconnect the brake line then huh, then mess with the fluid. ugh...now idk if i want to lol. seems like leaving them on and brush painting would be easier.

You can use newspaper to cover anything you don't want to paint then just spray over the calipers....Or you can use the brush...either way will work fine

thats a good idea carnut lol. i might try that because thats the only thing stopping me from disconnecting and spraying it. and ryguy, they don't have blue.
I think red would look much better than a blue, unless its the its trueblue... which would be hard to find in caliper paint..

When I did it I disconnected all the calipers (had to bleed the brakes and disconnecting the ebrake cable was a bitch). I spray painted them off the car. Did a few coats and they looked amazing, but as soon as I put them on the car they started chipping. I was so pissed. I ended up taking all the paint off. Huge waste of time.

i left the lines hooked up, went to Lowes and bought a cheap painters dropcloth thin plastic thing, unbolted the calipers and taped the drop cloth in so that it covered the rotors and suspension parts. Then i balanced teh caliper on the top of the rotor ontop of the plastic so any over spray would hit the plastic and ot the car. sprayed away, let dry, repeated for 4 coats. turned out good. of course it is raining right now so I cant finish the other side.... I used VHT caliper coating. it was at my local Vato Zone fr like 7 bucks a can...

For you to run out into your garage at 11 at night to snap a pic with what little resources you have....

It's the thought that counts...<3

Or maybe you were just so uncaring and to damn lazy to go find a decent camera with a flash.....Sigh*

Trueblue, did you paint yours yet?
I wanna do mine sometime this winter. I'm thinking about doing it the same way as R3dfyre with a dropcloth so I don't have to dick with unhooking everything and hooking it back up.
