New guy here from Augusta, GA. I just bought a Vista Blue 2008 GT 1/4/2008 and since I can't leave anything stock, I had the widows tinted, Flows, Lowered w/Eibach springs, HID conversion from fleabay and a few small detail stuff. Anyway, I hope to learn some stuff about my new ride. This is my first Ford "musclecar" (grew up racing Mopar). Although the best all around vehicle I've ever owned was my 87 Buick GN. What can I say, I'm a GEARHEAD. Nice meeting y'all.

Welcome Porndexter, I'm fairly new here myself and I've gotten some valuable info from the people here. There seems to be no end to the modifications you can make to your new Mustang. Wether its performance or styling you're looking for, you can find answers here. If you're looking for performance upgrades, I'd suggest starting with a good CAI/tune combo like those available from Brenspeed, Steeda and others. Bamachips is another supplier of tunes that seems to have a good following here. You can expect a 20 to 30 hp increase with a good tune and CAI. If you've got a 5 speed, a short throw shifter is also something you might consider, I've got the FRPP Hurst shifter, but am not too fond of it. There is manufacturing defect that Ford is supposedly working with Hurst to rectify, its perfectly usable but some have too much play in the ball pivot causing a very annoying rattle. Steeda and MGW also make popular short throws, and MGW is in Augusta. There are also suspension upgrades available to lower the car and/or improve handling. Your wallet is about the only limitation to the mods/upgrades you can do. I've got tunes on the way from Brenspeed and will likely be adding LT headers, high flow cats and mufflers sometime soon.

Thanks for the welcome. I only put the Eibach springs that lower it 1.3-1.4 inches. (I did it for the looks/stance). I took it to Tires Plus and got a lifetime alignment done to see just how far off I would be. I'm right at the limit for camber @ -1.5 deg. Caster is OK, and obviously they had to adjust toe to get it back into specs. I haven't measured just how far off the rear axle is offset, but until I upgrade to bigger wheels/tires, I'm good for now. As for pics, bear with me here

Looks nice. I like those wheels. You should put some SilverStars in the fogs to match the headlights.
