How long should the install take for someone that's never done it before? The cams are VT stage 2 blower cams.
If you mean an air compressor, you'd only need it for the crank bolt. Everything else all you need is hand tools and possibility the ford valve spring compressor unless you plan on having a really hard timecan i do it with just hand tools or do i need a compressor.. i have springs too
Yeah I meant air compressor. Can I just rent the spring compressor tool at Autozone or is there a special one? Where can I get a degree kit? How much of a power gain should I see with these? If you mean an air compressor, you'd only need it for the crank bolt. OTC 7928 - Ford Valve Spring Compressor Tool
Summit you can order the degree kit from, get a dial indicator extension and you don't need new cam gears you can file the stock keyway and shift the cam around till you get the intake centerlineokay thanks that's what I was looking for.. what about degreeing them? I need to buy some gears for them
I have to buy bolt on gears thoughSummit you can order the degree kit from, get a dial indicator extension and you don't need new cam gears you can file the stock keyway and shift the cam around till you get the intake centerline
As for the air compressor to hold the valve up, I believe you could rotate the engine till the piston is all the way up the cylinder and have enough room to slip the retainer clips on...
Comes with everything you need; gears, spacers, washers, and bolts.I have to buy bolt on gears though
