Agent 47 makes a brake duct lower grill and the ducts that work
Agent 47's setup is fairly expensive though. It would be much cheaper to just get the brake mount from Steeda and then go to the hardware shop and fab up your own ducting. You can get the brake mount from Steeda for like $200. Just the tubes and brake mount are $270 from Agent 47. Then the lower grille that Agent 47 reccomends you get is another $270.
Plus paint if you replace the whole fascia...that's another option out there. I'd say to go the Steeda route, unless you have no mechanical skill.
If you're going to spend the money on this... I sure hope you actually put it to good use.
True...our 'Stangs don't really have trouble with brake fade at all under normal use. I put mine through its paces right after I bought it and only experienced VERY SLIGHT brake fade, so I'd only suggest it for a serious track car (AutoX, for example). My $0.02.
brake fade?????? enlighten me please
What is Brake Fade?

Brake fade is the term used when there is a reduction in braking power due to excessive heat between your rotor and pad.
now i answered my own question.

I have experienced brake fade it sucks, its scary, I hate it i could smell my brakes hardcore from a hard brakeing from a high speed. slowing down from even 115 in the 1/4 i can feel the brake fade. so to answer this guys question it is possible to make your own sytem cheaper than just buying a kit. Do it road racing style with dryer hose's and ducts.
Yeah...the high-speed stopping will do it, but as I said, it wouldn't be needed for a street car. I also stopped the high-speed stuff after I got slammed for it awhile back. That, and I don't like glasing my pads or warping rotors due to the heat.
