Putting on new rotors this pic is the front drivers side the vains are straight on the rotors. Not sure if the direction mattered does this look right ?

Also the rears do you rotate them clockwise or counter clockwise? While pushing in the piston ?

Doesn't matter a whole lot either way unless the vents on the edge of the disc are directional. If your slots extend all the way to the edge of your rotor than you're supposed to put them on with the inside of the slot leading. If they don't extend all the way to the edge your supposed to mount them with the outside of the slot leading. So your pic looks correct.

I have a set of EBC rotors that the slots go in the Sam direction so one side is always backwards from the other. When I called EBC they said they have done testing with them mounted both ways and found no difference in performance.

As far as the rears I think it's like a normal screw, so I'm going to say clockwise.

^^ thanks Ed just finished up. They look soo much better and stop great to. Thank god for that tool at advance for the rears!

Clockwise is correct, as you've obviously figured out by now.

As far as the direction of the vains, The TPS ones I had said one thing, and the PowerStop ones I have now said another. Ultimately, I don't think it matters. The car stopped fine without them, if they're the wrong way it's not going to matter. If you installed a Baer or Willwood kit, I'd go with whatever they said, but really drilled/slotted rotors are more of a form thing over a function thing.

The improvement you're seeing is probably more from new rotors than them being drilled and slotted. Either way, they look a hell of a lot better, and definitely perform better than worn rotors. That, and they're cheap.
