I have a 2000 Gt and recently had some problems with the cats. Long story but the fronts blew out into the rears blocking rear exhaust flow. Anyway, i had a guy basically install a piece of pipe where the rear converter are and this cured the problem. The only other problem is now its LOUD! I had no idea that the converters make a sound difference. I am lokking for a solution to the problem. A new front conveter h-pipe assebly is $500+! Has any one found a solution to the problem, in a less costly manner or any good ideas. You would think with everyone replacing the front h-pipe there would be some laying around . I wish
If you know any one with one for sale let me know.
Thanks

Yeah, no doubt loud is good. I'll sell you my stock H pipe for $499 shipped, save you a dollar :)

Why didn't you just have that person weld in cats where the old ones were?

Put in some high flow cats and you'll be happy. Or get some better mufflers and "tune" your loudness.
