I have a fuel cap dummy light on. The cap seems just as tight as always. Anyone had this before? 02 GT 58k on it

could be a bad seal in the cap.

i had that light on my old sixer. get the codes read. you might could simply try a different gas cap, but it might be a part of a different problem.

Its got a vapor leak somewhere, Id start by replacing the cap

when i first got my mustang i had the same problem your check engine light will come on soon replace your gas cap first when you get a new one make sure its non vented or you will just keep getting the same thing
