Just installed the 1'' lowering springs from CJs today along with new shocks. The car sits only slightly lower than before. Will these springs settle over time?? The car looks only slightly lower than before. I sure hope these things settle at least another 1/2''.

where they the blue coils or the Black ones?

The blues one I have alway had good luck with the droping a 1"

The black ones dont drop.

You can always cut a little off the spring to lower it more.

The black ones...what is the difference? Why would CJs advertise a spring that is suppose to drop and does not. It pisses me off that I went through all that work to install them, now I have to take them out and cut them.

Yes, I didnt like that ether. That is why I use only the blue ones now.

Im just guessing they dont install what they sell. If they did they would know.

I found that cutting a 1/3 of a coil works good.

The blue ones are great, they just almost dont need a spring compressor to install them.

You think just a third? I was thinking at least a half, then again I have no experience with cutting coils.
