Hey everyone,
I finally got the engine done and put back in the car. I double checked everything and started her up. She fired up really fast maybe 2-3 turns of the engine. The only problem is there is this clattering noise in the driver side head. I know its not a valve smacking the piston because the engine would have been gone and it wouldn't have run right. The engine idles strong and doesn't sputter when you open the throttle. I havent driven it or anything, I didn't want to put any strain on the engine while it sounds like that. I think it is a lifter. I was just wondering if anyone has had this kind of problem and wanted to know what you guys think.

no body can give me any idea? I pulled off my valve cover and oil is getting up to the head. I'm thinking about replacing the lifters, or checking to make sure they are getting enough oil pressure.
