when my car is in gear and i let out the clutch and start moving it is quiet and smooth but when i push the clutch back in to slow down (not going fast enough for the break) there is this clunk sound coming from underneath the car. I have a detroit locker rear end and 4:10 gears. I though it might have somehting to do with that. But the more i think about it i wanna make sure i am not doing damage to the tranny or clutch does anyone know what this sound might be?

play in the input shaft, bad motor mounts, tranny mount, control arm bushings
