The adjuster on the firewall of my 93 GT doesn't have all the rubber around it anymore, its all cracked up, so i cant get a good adjustment and the clutch is not engaging all the way(cant get into gear). Is it a way to replace the rubber around the adjuster or buy a new adjuster and put that in or does the whole line need to come out and be replaced?

just a firewall adjuster isnt a whole lot of adjustment, especially if your cables stretched

might as well put in a new cable with it.

alright sounds good Thanks. i had to ask cause im trying to get fixed quick, its my daily driver until i can get the tcc solenoid fixed in my other car.

*edit
my shifting was fine until recently so i had it tightened and it was cool for a few hours thats when i realized the rubber around it was deteriorating and i was getting inconsistant shifting thats why i figured the adjuster would fix my problems.
