So I've had my Mustang for about 3 years and I'm on my third clutch cable and it's starting to split/break. I know why the stock cable broke (it was kinked around the k member) So I got the UPR kit

A few months later the cable broke at the quadrant. I was told that the BBK cables are one of if not the, strongest clutch cable. I ordered one of their cables and it was damn near twice the thickness of the UPR cable. It had worked great for about a year until 2 days ago, I heard a crackling sound and sure enough the cable is breaking at the quadrant.

Has anyone else had this problem?

My upr clutch cable broke the first time I pushed the clutch. The only cable you should use is an OEM one from ford. Sucks but all the aftermarket ones are famous for snapping

Has anyone used this cable before? and could I use it with the firewall adjuster and adjustable quadrant?

You might have to replace your clutch.
I was snapping cables too. I replaced my king cobra pos for a centerforce dfx and never looked back.
