Hey guys,

I'm swapping the clutch in my '99 tomorrow. I have everything parts related and I'm good to go as far as what to do. My only question is if I should lube the input shaft where the throw out bearing sits. Some people say do and some people say it's fine as is. Does the bearing actually rotate against the input shaft or is it the outside of the bearing that does the rotating?

No lube on the TOB ID and input shaft collar, IMO. Most do and the ford TOB comes with lube on the ID of TOB. Either way seems to work well.

Yep sure did. Other than wrestling the transmission to get it stabbed it was fine. This clutch sure is grippy though. FRPP clutch from AM.
