I have a 96 GT with a PI motor from a 2002 GT. Im still running the coil pack ignition.That being said I just got done checking the primary and secondary resistance,the primary resistance is zero and the secondary is in the neighborhhod of 13.7 ohms. Do those numbers seem right ? The reason Im checking is due to the fact that I think my car should have more power. If I pull the plug wires off one at a time when the car is running number one cylinder doesnt seem to change the idle/pitch as much as the other cylinders. I did notice that the spark plug boot for number 1 where it goes into the well is torn a bit. could that cause a slight loss of power,keeping in mind that the car does seem to have a slight miss at idle.
