Brands don't really matter...I personally have a full K&N intake, but the AM one would be just fine. Just buy the one off AM and then get a K&N drop-in filter and you're good

The [email protected] filter is bigger, and is better quality, and then you can recharge them using their recharge kits, which is nice, never have to buy a filter.

really the only thing you will gain from the cai is maybe a little peppier response, the better look in your engine bay, not having to buy a new filter, the cool sound in your engine bay of it sucking air, and the better sound to your exhaust.

You can get a Spectra full customer kit for < $80 at any Autozone.

Or you can adapt your own with Spectre parts for < $70.

You wont get a HUGE boost from a CAI - MAYBE 1-2 more MPG and a nicer sound at higher RPMs but not a GIGANTIC boost some sights claim (20HP, 5 MPG!).

Personally, I just notice a nicer hum at WOT. And more air is always better. The Ford stock opening is like 2 1/4''. Spectra, K&N, BBK ... the hole cone pulls in air.
