definitely go with jlt, and thats a pretty good price
i put a o/r x-pipe on it and now its running rich with the cold air intake make it not run rich and can you tell a diff. when you put the JLT on
so on my cobra i cant put a jlt cai, i have mac o/r h pipe?
I think the C&L is better quality and performance. Plus the shield that the shaker tube conects to over the filter is junk on the JLT.

Yea that was the biggest POS shield I have ever seen. By the way here is the link for the C&L filter shield I told him about. Tell him I posted it for him. Its at the bottom of the page under misc.

The both work fine. But considering you can buy everthing you need to make your own JLT from Home Depot you do the math. Plus the C&L for the Mach's like I said has a better heat shield.

Here is what mine looks like, Check out somebody's JLT it is mostly rubber boots.

yea i heard people say jlt is the best, but some guys say that c&l breaths better, i was thinking a c&l with a 90mm maf

for the cobra the cai is gonna be in the fender so the heat shield isnt much of a factor. mach1 is different

You don't need the 90mm unless you are going FI. If you go with C&L get their MAF as well. It will dial in the AFR and it flows much better on the top end. That should be all you ever need for a N/A car.

and i also have a 90mm maf with mine. nice combo for my cobra
