ok, when i go to start it the next morning or what not, it idles high then starts to idle irradicly or however you spell it, and it does that back and forth numberous times. then when i take it out on the road the minute i give it gas, for a split second it cuts out then accelerates fine. any ideas. iac valve, tps sensor are new

My 78 bronco will do that from the choke when its isn't warmed up, but it is carbuarated. Not sure what would cause this with EFI.

but even when its warmed up it pops and sputters sometimes i know that isnt normal. i think that might be the distributor
