I'm sure this is elementary to you guys on here, but I've only had my new girl for 2 weeks. It's also the first v8 I've ever owned. I recently got divorced, and not I get to get what I want! I shoulda done this a long time ago!
Though I'm new to v8s, I'm not new to working on my own projects. Years ago I used to run in SCCA with a home/mazda built turbo setup in an escort gt.
Anyway... I got a 90 GT, when I first start, she seems ok, put her into gear and she'll either stall out, or I gotta fight with the pedal to get the fuel back up, which seems to keep from stalling out. I can usually back outta my driveway fine, when I go into drive (its an auto), dead. Restart, drive like 1/8th mile to the gate, wait for it to open, stall out again. Then I hit the street, open her up and I'm fine. I can goto a store, come back out restart, and I'm fine. It's just that initial start up, usually after 6 hours or so. It's not outside temp, as its 100 here in Vegas.
I plan on doing a full tune up this weekend. Is there anything that I should be looking for, or ... ?
