I really hope that everyone in the area shows up for this car show, it's an awesome event, and Jenro's/Bass Pro Shops can never hold a candle to it. I won second place in the burnout competition last year and hope to make first this year!

Cruisin' Virginia Beach

Saturday, April 26, 2008
Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Cruise on down to the Virginia Beach boardwalk Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 10:00am-4:00pm, for a day of fun in the sun and the chance to see a collection of some of the hottest cars ever assembled! Whether you bring a classic car to show off, or cheer your favorite entry at the popular burnout competition, this revved-up weekend is guaranteed to crank up both participants and spectators.

Over two hundred hot rods, classic cars, street machines, antiques automobiles, and even motorcycles will line the boardwalk for fun and competition at the 9th Annual Cruisin’ Virginia Beach Auto & Motorcycle Super Show, presented by Eastern Truck & Accessories. Car clubs from throughout the Southeast will display their autos and compete for trophies in various categories. Clubs expected to participate in this year’s show include Mopars, VW’s, Fords, Corvettes, and many more. Enthusiasts who wish to display their cars and have them judged may enter through one of the car clubs or participate as an “independent.” Trophies are presented by the various car clubs at the conclusion of the event on Saturday.

The controlled burnout competition, always a crowd-pleaser, will be held Saturday at 5:30pm at the municipal parking lot at 18th Street and Arctic Avenue at the oceanfront.

All you d'bags better come if you're in town! Last day for early registration is tomorrow. Come out and see me on the boardwalk or at the burnout competition later that day. Rick is mounting some used tires on my burnout wheels and I'm going to soak them in bleach all week!
