Seriously thinking about removing the O/R X and putting an H with high flow cats or putting cats on a prochamber due to inspection problems. The O/R X is beginning to get old, and too loud. I would like something a little quieter without being stock quiet. Might even stick the stock H pipe back on, leaving the flowpaths, and see how it sounds for now.

Car also needs shock, badly. Being lowered for this long has taken it's toll on the stock shocks. I was looking at some Koni's. I've heard that I need to get fox shocks? What's the best brand of shocks for the money. That's the biggest concern.

Here's how my car looks now. Any more ideas of what I can do to make it look better would be helpful.

My car is a daily driver, what to do next is a wide open comment. I would suggest a performance mod. Maybe something that would increase your horsepower. How about a ProCharger? That would be a very good mod.

i would fix the shocks and struts. strang makes a budget set of ajustible shocks. i like mono tube shocks in the back for strip use but for the street twin tube work great. as for the x pipe and flowpaths, you could buy weld in cats and get them added to the x pipe if your looking to keep it in a budget. i just swapped out a o/r h pipe for a o/r x pipe with my flowpaths and it sounds great to me. it is really loud though. i was curious how it sounded with a 2v cause they are crisp and smooth on a 4v

gears and a tuner
Okay, should have mentioned, I'm not looking for anything that add HP. I've decided to make this the best daily I can, as far as drivability and visual mods. If I had the cash, I'd do a complete suspension overhaul, but the fact is, I don't. So, basically what I'm looking for is some cheaper mods, that will let me enjoy the car a little more, but nothing major like superchargers, or cams. Gears are a maybe though.

I love the way my MACs sound, but I have to drive this car to school and back, which is an hour drive on the interstate, plus on the weekends I do a lot of extra driving. At first, I loved them, but now I'm getting to the point where I would rather be comfortable than have the best sounding car. Plus, cats will help when it comes time for inspection. I had a hard time getting the car inspected this year. :\ And, how much am I looking at for a set of shocks?

I went with the Tockio HP series in my car, it is lowered and they work pretty damn good and are priced well. I got all 4 for 240 but that was from a guy who wrecked his car before he installed them. I believe areound 350-400 would be the normal price plus you need to get them installed. I found a spot that did it for 80 bucks, but most wanted around 250. You can do them yourself, they are pretty easy, I just didn't have the time to do them.

My next thing to do would be a set of full length SFC's from Steeda or MM. That by far was the best thing I did to my Stang for getting the chasis stiffened up.

My setup is LT's, prochamber, with magnapacks and I think its too quiet. Ive been thinking about going to an o/r X pipe. I think the prochamber knocks the "loud" down but gives it a GREAT sound. But i want mine louder. Just scared the o/r X will make it raspy.

If you are looking for visual improvements check out the mach c pillar swap. I think they make our cars look way better.

I'll put them on myself, probably over thanksgiving break if I get them in before then. That sounds like a great price!

Tint the back window first.
Get rid of front license plate.
Your car looks oddly familiar 0.o
Yea, I think I'm going to get all the windows retinted, because the sides are all scratched up. And I live in Shelby,NC, go to UNCC. The guy who won the mustang week burnout contest car look almost exactly like mine, except with 17s instead of 18s.

As far as visuals, your car looks good. I have the Koni shocks/struts, they work fine. My struts are for a fox. +1 for gears.
Thanks. I was looking at Koni's and someone mentioned getting fox struts. Thanks for the help!

Seems like a popular choice. They're also pretty cheap. I'll end up getting some along with the shocks.

Will do!

I don't think it's raspy, it sounds great with MAC flowpaths, but It's a little too loud for me. I might try getting a prochamber.

Had a guy tell me this before! Only downside is, they're hard to find/expensive.

Get 03/04 Side mirrors! That's one of my next exterior mods. . .

Also 35th Anniversary side skirts OR 03/04 side skirts

Racing seats are always a nice mod since the stockers suck.

I have the 35th LE sides :)

How my stang sits now. I'm going for black wheels next. . .

Haha. Unfortunately not right now. Currently a sophomore in college, when I graduate, I'm buying a fox to build. This car will be my daily until it falls apart.

Looking good! How much were those seats? They look comfortable. I need to get my side skirts repainted, or get new ones. Scooped need to be repainted. Not because they're chipped up, but they're turning yellow! :O

Also, can you get me a better pic of your interior?

I got them used but you can find a set for about 600ish.

What do you need a pic of?
