I canceled my old debit card, and forgot to transfer over one of my bills to my other card (taken out automatically).

I was sent a notice that I owe $119.85. I paid it.. Twice.. because the first didn't go through at first. I've been fighting with them for two weeks to get my money back.

They kept ducking and dodging me for a week. Now they are saying, "It will be in your account today", and have been saying that since Monday (I've called every single day).

My mother called from her lawfirm, and had a conference call with her boss (the lawyer), her, me, and the debt collecting company, and they are still saying the same crap, "It will be refunded and in the account today."

That was yesterday at 11AM.

Now it's Friday, just got off the phone with them AGAIN.. ANd guess what? STILL no money. Just more excuses. "the money will be returned today, but it takes 24 hours to return."

What the hell.. Is there anything else I can do? The fact that they are still making excuses after talking to a lawfirm is facepalm worthy.

If you check your account online or by phone, you will notice that any transaction made with the card will take at least 3 WORKING days (Not including weekends) to appear on the statement.

If they don't want to put it back on your account, just have them mail you a check.

Tell your bank and your bank will go after them.

Yes, but it will still show it as "processing". Even that's not showing.
